Transwest Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist & Benefits Coordinator to administer employee benefits and provide HR support across multiple locations. This role requires detail orientation, confidentiality, and strong communication to support payroll, onboarding, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Commitment to confidentiality when handling employee data.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Customer service mindset with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; willingness to use both platforms.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills for data auditing and validation.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k) and wellness.
• Serve as the benefits contact for questions and guidance.
• Manage leave requests from intake to return to work; coordinate with HR partners on return-to-work plans.
• Support open enrollment communications and system updates.
• Process life events, dependent verifications, data entry and billing reconciliation.
• Assist with new hire onboarding including benefits orientation and I-9 compliance.
• Maintain confidential employee records in the HRIS; support payroll audits.
• Assist with HR compliance tasks and escalate complex issues to HR Business Partners.
