Job summary

Seminole Gaming is seeking a Benefits Specialist to assist in implementing and administering comprehensive employee benefits programs. You will ensure compliance with policies, HIPAA and ERISA standards, and support open enrollment and employee communications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of benefits experience, with proficiency in Workday, Excel, and HRIS systems. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; 2+ years HR benefits experience required.
• Experience with Workday required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; strong HRIS knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and COBRA.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to prepare financial spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Administers benefit programs in compliance with policies and contracts.
• Designs and updates benefits processes to stay current and compliant.
• Evaluates services and options; provides data as needed.
• Communicates benefits information to employees; conducts sessions.
• Monitors compliance; reports concerns to Director, Compensation & Benefits.
• Supervises monthly billing and reconciliations with insurers and accounts payable.
• Ensures eligibility and notifies changes to appropriate stakeholders.
• Processes enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA notifications.
• Meets with employees individually and in groups about programs.
• Maintains monthly billing reports and resolves disputes.
