Job summary

Benchmark Human Services seeks a Benefit Administrator to lead the benefits program and partner with senior leaders to enhance staff satisfaction. You will oversee health, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, and other voluntary plans, while managing leave policies and COBRA administration.

Hires will supervise a benefits assistant, coordinate with vendors, and present changes to employees. On-site work at the Fort Wayne corporate office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Proficiency with Paylocity HRIS module preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a benefits program offering health, prescription, dental, 401k, FSA, and voluntary products.
• Oversee FMLA and various leave policies.
• Supervise a benefits assistant.
• Manage the benefits module within the HRIS.
• Collaborate with vendors and benefit consultants.
• Oversee COBRA administration.
• Present benefits to employees individually and in groups.
• Support HR leadership on policies for new markets.
