Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Benefits Manager to oversee benefit programs, including health, wellness, and ancillary plans, while leading a team of benefits support staff. This role focuses on compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ADA, and collaborates with brokers and vendors to resolve issues and optimize programs.

The position reports to the VP of HR and supports design, enrollment, and administration of multi-benefit plans in a dynamic corporate environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
4–6 years progressive benefits experience, preferably with supervisory duties.
Experience with self-insured and fully insured plan designs.
Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ADA.

Responsibilities

Administers employee benefit programs, including health insurance and wellness initiatives, ensuring policy compliance.
Oversees the employer-sponsored 401k retirement plan eligibility, reviews, matches, and vendor coordination.
Manages leaves of absence in line with state and federal requirements.
Assists in design and implementation of benefit programs.
Collaborates with brokers, carriers, and vendors to resolve service or claims issues.
Leads open enrollment, including communications, presentations, and trainings.
