Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Benefits Manager to lead the Benefits Administration team and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing. The role collaborates with Payroll, Accounting, and insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements.

The position emphasizes on-site leadership, audits, SOPs, and ongoing client service excellence, with opportunities to lead special projects and operational enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; 2–5 years of managerial group benefit experience preferred.
• Experience supervising Benefits Specialists and Senior Benefits Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior leadership with managing day-to-day operations of the Benefits Administration team.
• Provide direct supervision and support to Benefits Specialists and Senior Benefits Specialists, including coaching and feedback.
• Monitor workloads and case volumes to meet service-level expectations.
• Serve as escalation point for complex employee and client benefit issues.
• Review and approve complex benefit transactions, including life events and payroll corrections.
• Support the team during peak periods and staffing gaps.
• Ensure benefit enrollments and employer contributions are processed accurately per plan rules.
• Partner with Payroll and Billing to resolve payroll discrepancies.
