FBMC Benefits Management, Inc. is seeking a Director of Benefits Administration to lead our benefits operations nationwide.

You will oversee eligibility management, data integrity, and client support, driving accuracy and service excellence. In this role you will mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with Account Management, Enrollment, and Billing, and lead strategic projects to improve workflows and audit readiness while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits administration or related areas.
• 2+ years in a leadership role supervising a team.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration platforms and carrier requirements.
• Familiarity with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and related regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and client needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of benefits administration professionals.
• Oversee eligibility administration and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Enrollment Operations, and Billing.
• Drive process improvements, audit readiness, and KPI reporting.
• Manage complex eligibility issues and serve as escalation point.
• Support open enrollment planning and client services improvements.
