Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage employee benefits programs and deliver accurate, responsive service across the firm. You will handle enrollment, data maintenance in ADP Workforce Now, vendor coordination, and benefits reporting.

The role supports leave administration and ensures COBRA processes are timely and compliant. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of benefits experience, strong data and MS Office skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting employee benefits, enrollment and plan administration.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.
• Professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee questions regarding benefit programs and support enrollment and life events.
• Maintain employee and benefit data in ADP Workforce Now for HR and benefit plan transactions.
• Liaise with benefit plan vendors for setup, enrollment and COBRA-related tasks.
• Back up leave administration and related paperwork.
• Coordinate benefit deductions with Payroll and resolve discrepancies.
• Administer benefit programs including commuter, parking and stipends.
• Prepare monthly and annual benefit reports and COBRA reconciliations.
• Conduct new hire benefits orientation and distribute enrollment materials.
• Audit enrollments, deductions, eligibility, and HR data for accuracy.
• Support firmwide wellness communications and events.
