Job summary

Motion is seeking a Benefits Administration Manager to oversee the delivery of Health & Welfare and Retirement programs across the US and Canada. The role partners with Total Rewards, Payroll, HR Operations, and Legal to ensure compliant, efficient, and employee-focused administration.

The position focuses on performance of outsourced vendors, risk mitigation, enrollment operations, and continuous improvement while protecting the employee experience and meeting service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, retirement administration, HR operations, shared services, or total rewards.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Welfare benefits, retirement plans, and related compliance requirements.
• Experience managing third-party administrators and outsourced service providers.
• Experience supporting vendor governance, service-level management, and escalation resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery for Health & Welfare and Retirement programs.
• Monitor service delivery, metrics, and trends to ensure high-quality experience.
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in benefits operations.
• Support annual enrollment activities and related initiatives.
• Escalate and resolve complex employee issues related to benefits and vendor activity.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with benefits/vendor partners and ensure SLAs are met.
