Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in HR, business or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of benefits experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company information management systems.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong planning and prioritization abilities.
  • Experience handling complex projects under deadline pressure.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA and related regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support employee benefit programs (health, welfare, retirement, voluntary benefits).
  • Manage benefit-related system events and transactions.
  • Process and review benefit adjustments, refunds and corrections.
  • Support annual enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
  • Audit benefit deductions and ensure payroll alignment.
  • Prepare ACA reporting (1094/1095) and related audits.
  • Produce reports on premiums, deductions, and eligibility.
  • Document processes and participate in system improvement projects.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and coordinate with HR, Payroll, and vendors.
