Hilldrup is seeking a Benefits Manager in Stafford, VA to administer and coordinate comprehensive employee benefits programs. The role focuses on delivering education, support, and a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.

The position involves managing open enrollment, benefits communications, and vendor coordination, with collaboration across HR and payroll teams. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of benefits experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration or related HR field.
• Knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems.
• Professional certification (CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar).
• Office-based or hybrid environment; minimal travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness).
• Support annual open enrollment and communications.
• Ensure accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Assist with renewals, vendor evaluations, audits, and required filings.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on plan options.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and benefits utilization tracking.
• Collaborate with HRIS and payroll teams for data integrity and system functionality.
