Phoenix House is seeking an HR Specialist, Benefits and Leave to oversee benefits programs, leave requests, and compliance for a diverse workforce across multiple sites. You will administer enrollment, changes, and terminations while ensuring accurate eligibility and ACA measurement.

You will manage FMLA and paid leave, coordinate with HRBP and managers, and support open enrollment, leave documentation, and audits. A strong attention to detail and confidentiality is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, including benefits or leave administration.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a service-oriented approach to employees.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Administer benefits programs across benefits, enrollment, changes and terminations.
• Manage FMLA, NY Paid Family Leave, and other leaves; track balances and returns.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and renewals; respond to employee questions.
• Track surveys and performance reviews; coordinate reminders and documentation.
• Support multiple Phoenix House sites; travel occasionally to collect documents and run sessions.
• Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA and NY/NYS NYC requirements; maintain HRIS/payroll data.
