Job summary

Mason Health is seeking a Benefits & Leave of Absence Specialist who will provide professional HR support focused on benefits administration, leave management, and process improvements. This full-time, in-person role offers comprehensive benefits with a strong emphasis on compliance and employee support.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 2+ years HR experience (healthcare preferred), and certification such as PHR/SHRM-CP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Two or more years of HR experience; healthcare or public sector preferred.
• Minimum one year as Benefits Specialist; three+ years preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers employee benefit programs and responds to inquiries.
• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment and benefit communications.
• Administer Tuition Assistance Program; track eligibility.
• Process 1095-C statements and ACA reporting.
• Administers and coordinates leaves of absence; liaises with payroll and benefits.
• Support HR projects and provide cross-functional coverage.
