Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to oversee employee benefits programs across multiple entities, including government operations, a healthcare clinic, and other ventures. You will manage enrollment, renewals, and 401(k) processes, maintain records in the HRIS, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

This role emphasizes data accuracy, coordination with vendors, and reporting on premiums and costs. You will support the HR Director, handle payroll deductions, and contribute to compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 2 years of benefits experience, or 6 years of benefits experience in lieu of a degree.
• THRP certification or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Experience with group insurance, 401(k), COBRA, and wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administers daily employee benefits, including enrollment, renewals, and delivery.
• Serves as a resource for staff on benefits programs and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains benefits data in the HRIS and coordinates with vendors, brokers, and consultants.
• Manages 401(k)/Roth communication, enrollment meetings, and forfeiture accounts.
• Prepares government reports, ACA filings, and audits; ensures accurate documentation.
