Job summary

HM Electronics Inc. is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to administer comprehensive benefits programs and serve as the first point of contact for employee questions. You will handle enrollment, life event updates, and vendor coordination, while also supporting open enrollment and processing HR invoices.

The role requires 1+ year in benefits or HR, strong communication, and discretion. You will assist with leave administration, employee communications, and event planning in a collaborative HR team

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in benefits administration or HR-related roles.
• Basic knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and provide guidance.
• Explain benefit programs to employees and assist with enrollment and life event updates.
• Support annual open enrollment process, including communications and vendor coordination.
• Process HR-related invoices and reconcile statements with proper coding.
• Maintain bulletin boards and update company events and HR communications.
• Plan and promote company events and employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate leave of absence administration with payroll and administrators.
• Develop and distribute employee communications and promotional materials.
• Report workplace injuries to agencies and maintain OSHA logs.
