Job summary

AmCheck is seeking a Benefits Compliance Service Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on administering employee benefits, ACA and COBRA compliance, and ensuring timely deadline management within a technology-driven payroll and HR environment.

Ideal candidates will have ACA experience, COBRA familiarity, strong written and verbal communication skills, and solid Excel capabilities to support accurate reporting and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience administering employee benefits.
• ACA experience preferred.
• COBRA experience preferred.
• Must be able to manage deadlines.
• Must be able to manage priorities.
• Must be organized.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must display at least an intermediate level of Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• ACA: Keep track of ACA for ALEs.
• Set up ACA measurement and plan information.
• Confirm we have agreements on file.
• Track billing.
• Make sure the clients are tracking their enrolled employees throughout the year.
• Promote Services to groups over 50 each year that have not signed up for ACA services.
• Build medical plans for ACA reporting and attach employees to plans.
• Complete 1095’s annually.
• Educate yourself with what Basic Compliance is needed for benefits.
