Qualifications

• Experience in payroll and customer service with high-volume data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good grammar a must.
• Analytical skills for problem resolution and multi-tasking.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax withholding laws.
• Familiarity with federal and state garnishment laws; payroll deductions such as benefit premiums, retirement plan contributions, etc.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Adaptable to shift priorities working under critical time constraints and deadlines.
• Occasional overtime required.

• Handles high volume of correspondence by telephone, email and fax.
