Job summary

Alera Group in Kentucky is seeking a Benefit Analyst to support employee benefits programs, deliver exceptional client service, and build trusted relationships with clients and carriers. You will analyze benefits data and assist in managing complex benefit accounts in a hybrid work setting.

Collaborating with consultants and producers, you will review projects, monitor requests, and contribute to strategic benefit initiatives while supporting ongoing client engagements and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in employee benefits or a related field
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with Consultants and Producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives
• Review and monitor ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests
• Assist in the management of complex employee benefits accounts and client engagements
• Analyze benefits data, financial information, and plan performance to support client decision‑making
• Research benefits, compliance, and industry‑related topics to support client needs
• Review client communication materials and benefit documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners
• Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement activities
