AIR Control Concepts in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, TPAs, brokers, and vendors to ensure accurate records and a positive employee experience.

The role emphasizes data analysis, Excel proficiency, and process improvement with a focus on accuracy and compliance across health, welfare, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and large dataset handling.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for data interpretation.
• Highly organized, multitasking, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of health and welfare plans.
• Manage enrollments, eligibility updates, and life events with accuracy.
• Use Excel to organize, reconcile benefits data, invoices, and payroll deductions.
• Review reports for inconsistencies, trends, and discrepancies; drive resolution.
• Coordinate with TPAs, PBMs, stop-loss carriers, and brokers to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with benefits invoice reconciliation and HRIS data feeds.
• Maintain confidential employee information and plan documentation.
