Job summary

Flex, based in Austin, TX, is hiring a Benefits Analyst to support US employee benefit programs and total rewards initiatives. The role collaborates with HR, payroll, finance, and vendors to ensure compliant, accurate benefits administration and a great employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of benefits experience, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency with Workday and Excel. This is a full-time, on-site position in Austin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years progressive employee benefits experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple health, welfare and retirement programs; Canadian benefits experience a plus.
• Experience with benefit vendors, carriers, and consultants; Workday a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support U.S. employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability).
• Serve as SME and primary contact for HR inquiries and complex benefit issues.
• Partner with vendors to resolve issues and support plan administration.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal and vendors for accurate processing.
• Support benefits projects, vendor implementations, and system updates.
• Develop and maintain benefits procedures and controls.
• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment activities and communications.
• Analyze benefits data to identify risks and improvements.
• Support compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and state laws.
