Job summary

TELCOR in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Employee Benefits Administrator to manage the administration of self-funded medical, dental, and STD plans. The role involves coordinating with HR, Payroll, TPAs, and vendors to ensure accurate deductions and enrollment, while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee information.

You will work closely with the Accounting department and CFO, overseeing benefit reporting, invoicing, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with self-funded benefit plans and payroll deductions.
• Knowledge of TPAs, stop-loss, and captive insurance structures.
• Familiarity with employee benefit laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, TPAs, and benefit vendors to ensure timely enrollment and accurate payroll deductions.
• Answer employee questions related to payroll deductions and HRIS.
• Administer self-funded medical, dental, and STD plans; coordinate with stop-loss carriers.
• Fund self-funded claims and reconcile funding to TPA reports.
• Record and report monthly accruals; reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
• Communicate with employees to promote benefit programs.
• Collaborate with Benefits Committee on strategy, renewals, and plan changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefit requirements.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers to meet service levels.
