Job summary

Tebra is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Administrator in the United States to oversee self-insured health and welfare plans, ensuring ERISA/ACA compliance and strong data analytics. You will manage TPA relationships, funding, and annual enrollment, reporting to the HR Operations Director.

Applicants should have deep ERISA/ACA knowledge, excellent communication, and a background in self-insured medical plans with stop-loss, TPAs, and PBMs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of direct experience dedicated to health & welfare plan administration.
• Demonstrated experience managing self-insured / self-funded medical plans, including stop-loss, TPAs, and PBMs.
• Professional Certifications (Preferred): CEBS, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR.

Responsibilities

• Claims Analysis & Tracking: Monitor medical and prescription claims performance; identify trends and cost drivers with plan actuaries and brokers.
• Stop-Loss Administration: Coordinate renewals, track stop-loss thresholds, and submit reimbursements to carriers.
• TPA & Vendor Governance: Oversee TPAs, PBMs, brokers, and carriers with SLAs.
• Funding & Reconciliations: Manage weekly/monthly billing, funding requests, reserves (IBNR), and employee contributions.
• Open Enrollment: Lead annual process, communications, sessions, and post-enrollment audits.
• Life Events & Admin: Handle enrollment changes, QLEs, COBRA processing, and LOA periods.
• Disability & Leave Coordination: Support disability programs and premium alignment during FMLA/LOA.
