Job summary

Tebra is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Administrator to oversee day-to-day administration and strategic alignment of our self-insured health and welfare plans. Reporting to the HR Operations Director, you will manage plan performance, TPAs, and compliance across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and wellness.

The ideal candidate has deep ERISA/ ACA knowledge, strong data analytics, and excellent employee communication skills to deliver a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5 years of direct experience dedicated to health & welfare plan administration.
• Demonstrated experience managing self-insured / self-funded medical plans, including working with stop-loss insurance, TPAs, and PBMs.
• Professional Certifications (Preferred): CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist), SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration and strategic alignment of health and welfare plans.
• Manage self-insured medical plan performance, funding, and compliance.
• Oversee TPA relationships, act as governance with carriers and brokers.
• Lead Open Enrollment, life events, COBRA, and compliance reporting.
