Job summary

Tebra is hiring a Senior Benefits Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of our self-insured health and welfare plans. You will ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA while partnering with TPAs, PBMs, and brokers to optimize plan performance and member experience.

You will lead enrollment events, audits, and benefits communications, leveraging Workday and advanced Excel to analyze claims trends and support strategic decisions. This is a remote, US-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or related field.
• 5+ years of health & welfare plan admin experience.
• Experience managing self-insured/self-funded medical plans with stop-loss, TPAs, PBMs.
• CEBS/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR-SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration and strategic alignment of health & welfare plans.
• Monitor self-insured medical plan performance and manage TPA relationships.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.
• Lead open enrollment, life events, and ongoing enrollment changes.
• Prepare SPDs, SBCs, plan documents, and Form 5500 filings.
• Coordinate annual 105(h) nondiscrimination testing and 401(k) audits.
