Job summary

SDI Staffing seeks an Employee Benefits Assistant Account Manager for a retail agency/brokerage in San Diego's Mission Valley. Full-time, mostly in-office with remote Mondays/Fridays after training. Salary $25–$28/hour, with benefits.

Requires CA residency, Life/Health license or ability to obtain; two years related experience preferred, training available. No visa sponsorship. Strong customer service, math/analytical skills, and Proficiency in EASE and MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• Must want to and be open to growth and learning new things in Employee Benefits.
• The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills and can assist the Producer in servicing clients.
• Experience with EASE software in a broker/agency setting is preferred.
• Must be willing to train and obtain licensure if not already licensed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (spreadsheets, email, PowerPoint).
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of two years related Assistant Account Manager experience in employee benefits is preferred, but training may be provided.

• Assist the Producer in servicing clients and managing relationships.
• Provide strong customer service and accurate information to clients.
• Support daily account management tasks and data entry as needed.
• Prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
