Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support the Client Service Team in Denver, CO. You will gather data, analyze plans, respond to client inquiries, and coordinate with carriers to ensure smooth renewals and accurate enrollment materials.

The role requires understanding of health and welfare benefits, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines. Occasional travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a basic understanding of health and welfare plan benefits and carrier processes.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to serve clients and coordinate with carriers.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create tables, charts and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Client Service Team to support routine client requests and act as liaison with carriers.
• Support the renewal process by gathering census data, plan design and rate information, and claims experience.
• Prepare RFPs for renewals and prospective groups as assigned.
• Collaborate with team to negotiate with carriers for competitive rates and products.
• Maintain client and carrier spreadsheets and cost contribution analyses.
• Coordinate enrollment materials and installation meetings with carriers.
