Job summary

INSURICA is seeking an Employee Benefit Account Manager in Richardson, TX. This role supports clients with service needs, processes account changes, and handles marketing responsibilities to ensure quality service standards.

The position requires life/health insurance knowledge, strong client communication, and ability to travel as needed. Bachelor's degree preferred with relevant licenses or designations encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of life/benefits experience preferred.
• State-issued life and health insurance license or ability to obtain
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• CPCU/CIC or other designations preferred

Responsibilities

• Market new and renewal accounts as directed by the producer.
• Ensure proposals and submissions are complete and accurate.
• Maintain records of marketed accounts, carriers, and status.
• Stay informed on market availability and competitive markets.
• Review rates and premiums for coverage on new/renewal accounts.
• Develop agency relationships with existing companies.
• Check policies for accuracy and process premium transactions.
• Maintain suspense file and expiration control log.
• Educate clients about policy coverage and changes.
• Respond to client and company inquiries; assist with claims issues.
• Process cancellation requests with carriers to resolve quickly.
• Refer clients to relevant departments for solicitation of lines.
• Avoid issues related to errors and omissions; follow guidelines.
• Process daily mail in a timely manner.
• Maintain a weekly log of new business, quotes, and policies written.
• Participate in seminars and training to maintain licenses and skills.
