Job summary

USI Insurance Services offers an 18-month Employee Benefits Career Track Program designed for recent graduates to build a career in client service and employee benefits. You will gain hands-on experience supporting account teams, handling client needs, and learning daily management of benefit programs.

You’ll participate in a mentorship program and connect with HR, Benefits Managers, and senior leaders, with opportunities to engage in USI Gives Back and networking across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree earned within the past two years.
• Enjoy learning new things and taking on new challenges.
• Organized and can manage time effectively.
• Pay attention to detail and follow through on deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and work well with others.
• Approach problems with a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Take initiative, stay curious, and are comfortable asking questions as you learn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of employee benefits account management with client service teams across various clients and industries.
• Handle day-to-day account management activities.
• Assist with client service requests including ID cards, coverage materials, and plan documents.
• Gather and maintain client census data for renewals.
• Review contracts and plan documents for accuracy.
• Resolve enrollment issues, billing inquiries, and escalated claims with your team.
• Coordinate applications, forms, and documentation for insurance coverage.
• Create client-facing materials for meetings (benefit summaries, guides, presentations).
• Participate in internal and external client meetings to learn relationship-building and solutions delivery.
