Responsibilities

• Arrange travel for eligible Veterans to appointments and residence, using laws and regulations to distinguish/ensure reimbursements are legitimate.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and adjust account balances.
• Determine method of payment for authorized and unauthorized claims submitted for consideration.
• Balance, reconcile, and adjust invoices for payment.
• Forward all invoices certified for payment and explain disposition of unauthorized claims as needed.
• Explain regulations and guidelines to beneficiaries.
• Communicate with patients and external personnel to obtain services; respond to client requests and resolve complaints.
