Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking an Assembly/Fabricator Technician – Belting in Franklin Park, IL. The role focuses on fabricating conveyor belts to order specs and following strict procedures.

You will work within a safety-conscious team, handle shop orders, and support both internal and external customers with quality and on-time delivery. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math, measuring, and reading skills in English.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read shop orders and drawings in English.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills are expected.
• Ability to read measuring devices and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate an in-tolerance finished conveyor belt per order requirements and procedures.
• Complete shop orders using Production Priority Code and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Assist with belt installation at customer facilities as needed and support shop goals.
• Perform belt fabrication including Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting.
