Job summary

AMMERAAL BELTECH in Franklin Park, IL seeks a Belt Technician I to fabricate in-tolerance conveyor belts per order specs and established processes. You will work on-site in Franklin Park, IL, contributing to on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read shop orders in English, and proficiency with measuring devices and hand tools. Training provided; 40–50 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent or technical/trade school experience.
• Able to read and comprehend shop orders and drawings written in English.
• Able to read measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales).
• Able to perform basic math (whole numbers, fractions, decimals, metric).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate belts to order requirements with in-tolerance finishes.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Complete shop orders using Production Priority Code system.
• Ensure quality and customer-specific requirements are met.
• Assist with belt installation at customer facilities.
• Perform belt fabrication tasks such as Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting.
