Hotel Oceana Santa Monica is seeking a proactive Bellman & Valet to create a seamless luxury guest experience from arrival to departure. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, park vehicles, and provide local recommendations in a fast-paced coastal setting.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or valet experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills to maintain the highest service standards in a premier boutique hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, valet, or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate guest vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with guest-first mindset.
• Knowledge of the Santa Monica/Los Angeles area preferred.

About The Role

As a Bellman & Valet, you create the first and last impression for our guests. You will provide personalized service, ensure smooth arrival and departure experiences, and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, attentive, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented service.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression
• Assist with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to guest rooms
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide a brief orientation of amenities and services
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles (manual and automatic transmission)
• Maintain accurate valet records and ensure secure handling of vehicle keys
• Provide recommendations on local attractions, dining, and transportation options
• Coordinate transportation requests, including taxis and rideshare services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and valet areas
• Support front office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Handle all guest belongings with care, professionalism, and attention to detail

What You Bring

Schedule & Expectations

• Flexible schedule based on operational needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must maintain professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards
