Alterra Mountain Company’s Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Bell Staff member to escort guests between lodges and parking, greet visitors, and share local information.

You will assist with luggage porterage, load Schweitzer vehicles, maintain a neat appearance, and collaborate with Front Desk and Housekeeping to ensure a seamless guest experience. Requires HS diploma; Driver's license preferred; lifts up to 50 lbs.

Offers pertinent information regarding available services and facilities of the lodges and Schweitzer Mountain Resort.**Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities**:* Recognize and greet guests, extending warmth and hospitality* Respond appropriately to guest requests by having thorough knowledge of local facilities, points of interest and entertainment attractions.* Assist with equipment porterage. Load up Schweitzer vehicles with luggage for transport, tagging/delivering luggage, and locating and ensuring luggage carts are accessible for guest use.* Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to departmental dress code.* Work closely with the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments to ensure a quality guest experience from arrival to departure.**Secondary Responsibilities**:* Clean guest accommodations and common spaces* Answer and transfer calls* Assist with Coffee orders and deliver coffee to rooms* Other duties as assigned**Specific Job Skills**:License/Certifications- Driver’s License preferredTechnical- None Physical Capabilities- Lift 50+ lbs Additional- computer proficiency preferred.**Education/Related Experience**:Minimum education required- High School diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum time in related position- One year work experience in guest service preferredConsidered by many as the best skiing in Idaho and the best family-friendly resort in the Pacific Northwest, Schweitzer ranks as one of the nation’s top winter destinations with 2,900 acres of incredible terrain thanks to two massive bowls and renowned tree skiing.
