Job summary

Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking a friendly, part-time seasonal Guest Services Escort to help guests between lodges and parking areas and share local tips for a smooth visit.

Work closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping to ensure a memorable guest experience, greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, and support various guest services with a smile.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year work experience in guest service preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests between Schweitzer properties and parking lots.
• Greet guests warmly and provide information on local facilities and attractions.
• Assist with luggage loading, tagging, and carts accessibility.
• Collaborate with Front Desk and Housekeeping to ensure a quality experience.
• Answer guest calls and transfer as needed.

Position Summary:

Responsible for escorting incoming and outgoing lodging guests between Schweitzer properties and parking lots. Offers pertinent information regarding available services and facilities of the lodges and Schweitzer Mountain Resort.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Recognize and greet guests, extending warmth and hospitality
• Respond appropriately to guest requests by having thorough knowledge of local facilities, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
• Assist with equipment porterage. Load up Schweitzer vehicles with luggage for transport, tagging/delivering luggage, and locating and ensuring luggage carts are accessible for guest use.
• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to departmental dress code.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments to ensure a quality guest experience from arrival to departure.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Clean guest accommodations and common spaces
• Answer and transfer calls
• Assist with Coffee orders and deliver coffee to rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications- Driver’s License preferred

Physical Capabilities- Lift 50+ lbs
Additional- computer proficiency preferred.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
