Job summary
The Langham Chicago is seeking a part-time bell attendant to greet guests with a professional demeanor, guide them to accommodations, and assist with luggage and local information. You will escort guests, explain hotel services, and help with directions to facilities and attractions.
Candidates should have 2 years of customer service experience, be able to lift 50+ pounds, and communicate clearly in English. This role supports our busy downtown hotel and its guests year round.
Qualifications
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50+ pounds and stand/walk for long periods
- Excellent English communication for guest inquiries and directions
Responsibilities
- Maintain driveway flow for hotel entrance and loading zones
- Transport luggage using bell cart; assist guests to rooms
- Escort guests to accommodations; inform housekeeping of needs
- Guide guest movement to restaurants, spa, and facilities
- Answer guest questions about hours, rooms, and local attractions
- Work in varying outdoor temperatures; physical stamina required
- Follow proper procedures for parking or guest services
