Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to provide courteous guest service, escort guests to their accommodations and assist with luggage. You will help with directions to hotel outlets and local areas, and ensure the entrance remains accessible for guest arrivals and departures.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least two years in customer service. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. EOE

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of previous customer service experience required

Responsibilities

• Maintain the driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility
• Retrieve guest items from cars and luggage, load onto bell cart and transport
• Escort guests to accommodations; report deficiencies or requests to housekeeping
• Direct guests to hotel services and local attractions
• Communicate in English to obtain information from tags and create claim checks
• Work in outdoor conditions and with heavy luggage (up to 50+ pounds)
