Job summary

The Langham, Chicago, part of Langham Hospitality Group, is hiring a bell attendant to extend a professional, courteous welcome to guests and assist with luggage and directions. You will escort guests to their accommodations, explain room features, and coordinate with housekeeping for any deficiencies.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 2 years of customer service experience. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather; basic English proficiency

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain driveway traffic flow for main hotel entrance
• Retrieve guest items from cars and transport with a bell cart
• Escort guests to accommodations and inspect rooms for deficiencies
• Direct guests to outlets, spa, and other hotel facilities
• Answer inquiries with a clear, positive voice and provide directions
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures
• Push/pull/lift 50+ pounds and be able to stand/walk/bend
• Communicate in English to process luggage tags and rooming lists
• Explain parking procedures and costs to guests
