Innisfree Hotels is seeking a Bell Captain at Hilton Pensacola Beach to supervise the bell desk and support the front desk team. You will welcome guests, assist with luggage, and ensure smooth service during arrivals and departures.

This role requires coordinating with the Front Office Manager, maintaining a positive, service‑oriented environment, and presenting a warm, professional image to all guests and colleagues.

The Bell Captain is primarily responsible for the supervision of all bell desk staff activities as well as the upkeep of the front desk area. This role is also responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them with a fond farewell. The Bell Captain is in constant communication with the Front Office Manager to increase the efficiency of Bell Desk and Bell Stand by preparing timely reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Always approaches all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promotes a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
• Ensures that bell desk is always staffed accordingly.
• Keeps working area, clean and well organized.
• Ensures that smooth and fast luggage handling for all arriving and departing guests.
• Attends all guest calls for Bell Stand/Door Services related services.
• Delegates bell persons to pick up the luggage from guest rooms.
• Alerts management of any unattended packages and stranger found in the premises .
• Checks the daily arrival list for VVIP's or guests with special need.
• Prepares for group movements and ensures appropriate staffing is in place.
• Greets all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner.
• Informs guest about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities and emergency procedures.
• Makes deliveries to guest rooms as instructed.
• Stores and retrieves luggage and other objects for guests.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous working experience in a hotel/resort environment.
3. Should be able to work independent and with minimum supervision.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English to communicate with guests and team members.
6. Have a strong attention to details.
7. Must be able to multi-task.
8. Must be a team player.
