Madame Tussauds New York is seeking a Guest Experience Host – Operations & Behind the Scenes Tour Guide to welcome guests, lead the exclusive Behind the Scene Tour, and share engaging facts about our wax figures in a fast-paced, energetic setting.

This part-time role requires 18+ and a friendly, guest-focused attitude. You’ll maintain clean, safe spaces, promote souvenirs and upgrades, and act as the brand ambassador for Madame Tussauds.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in attractions, entertainment, tours, hospitality, or customer service preferred
• Friendly, energetic, and guest-focused with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, including areas with loud noise and confined spaces
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence handling guest questions and concerns
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Responsibilities

• Lead guests on Behind the Scene Tour and share fascinating facts about the wax-making process
• Bring the Madame Tussauds story to life through engaging storytelling
• Welcome guests with energy, confidence, and a red-carpet attitude
• Memorize tour scripts and figure facts
• Act as a brand ambassador and spokesperson for Madame Tussauds
• Ensure exhibit areas are clean, safe, and photo-ready
• Promote souvenirs, snacks, and attraction upgrades and help with wayfinding
• Help manage crowd flow and operational needs
• Follow health, safety, and food handling procedures
