Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is hiring a part-time Tour Guide to deliver the MSG Arena experience. You will conduct daily public tours, memorize a lengthy script, and ensure guest safety and enjoyment while guiding visitors through front and back of house areas.

The role requires strong public speaking, customer service focus, and the ability to adapt to schedule changes. Weekend availability is often required and foundational to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tour-related or entertainment industry desired.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills required with a focus on customer service.
• Recommended background includes Tour Guide or theater/performing arts/communications.
• Excellent memorization and time management with energetic presentation.
• Adaptability to changes to tour script or route on short notice.
• Good organizational skills to check in groups and collect tickets as necessary.
• Part time; scheduled based on arena availability.
• Must be a member or join L153

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily public tours of MSG Arena in an orderly and safe fashion.
• Memorize a 20-25 page script and present clearly, concisely, informatively and entertainingly.
• Memorize multiple tour routes and become familiar with all front of house and back of house areas.
• Assist fellow Tour Guides with large groups from time to time.
• Secure, return, and observe proper use of equipment such as radios, keys, uniform, locker room, props and technology during tours.
• Interact cordially with other departments and all levels of management.
• Keep abreast of company and team news, and coming events.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Must conduct a minimum of 2-3 tours per day.
• Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members per guidelines.
