Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Behavioral Technician in Atlantic City, NJ to perform direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision. You will assist with personal care, collect data for the plan of care, and communicate observations to the care team.

The role requires 1–3 years in patient care, reading and writing English, and BLS/HCP certification within six months. CPI training is required within one year, or by 10/31/25 for existing staff, with a focus on teamwork and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English; bilingual preferred.
• BLSHCP certification within six months of hire.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.
• 1–3 years patient care preferred; knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Communicate observations and data collection to the care team.
• Collect test specimens and document patient care activities according to procedures.
• Support team objectives and assist other team members as needed.
