Pressley Ridge in Pittsburgh is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to provide behavior management instruction to teachers and classroom staff for students with challenging behaviors. You will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop positive behavior support plans, and implement evidence-based strategies with data collection.

You will collaborate with families and the Home Community Educator to support home programs, supervise data tools, and deliver weekly social skills groups.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education or other childcare field.
• Requires two (2) years of experience working with students who have various levels of autism, preferably in a school-related setting developing behavior support plans and conducting functional behavior assessments.
• Requires familiarity with multiple types of data collection instruments.
• State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances are required; Mandated Reporter training is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide behavior management instruction to teachers and classroom staff.
