Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a Student Intervention Specialist in Pittsburgh to develop and monitor individualized behavioral health programs for assigned students, collaborating with teachers to implement Positive Behavior Support Plans. The SIS will participate as a member of the classroom team to support educational and behavioral development.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• ASL proficiency within two years of employment for the School for the Deaf.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance for all locations except Satellite programs.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Clearances: State Police, FBI, Child Abuse Clearances, Mandated Reporter training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral health programs for each student.
• Assist PBSP development and monitoring as part of the classroom team.
• Supervise assigned students and maintain documentation of progress and incidents.
• Coordinate with teachers and support staff to support students’ educational and behavioral goals.
