Job summary

Achieva Main Office in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Behavioral Support Professional to assess, develop, and monitor individualized behavior support plans for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role emphasizes evidence-based, person-centered practices and collaboration with care teams to promote skill development, well-being, and safety.

Qualified candidates have a master’s or higher in a related field or a bachelor’s with supervised experience, and possess training in FBA and PBSP.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in psychology, special education, counseling, social work, education, applied behavior analysis, gerontology, or related field; or a Bachelor’s with supervised experience.
• Experience with functional behavioral assessments and positive behavioral support.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) to understand needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Develop and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and restricted procedure plans as needed.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress and effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure least restrictive, trauma-informed practices.
