Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Santa Clara County seeks an entry-level Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children on the Autism Spectrum in the afternoons.

The role focuses on supporting social and communication skills, documenting progress, and following behavior plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
