Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups under supervision to implement IEP goals, support behavior plans, and provide data on progress. A high school diploma is required, with prior experience in education preferred. Position pays $15/hour.

• Experience with behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on progress.
• Utilize intervention strategies to support student behaviors.
• Assist with de-escalation techniques and safety where needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment supporting social skills.
• Supervise students during transport to locations within school.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
