Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team, implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and assisting with life skills and social-emotional development to help students reach IEP goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior strategies and track progress/data.
• Assist with crisis de-escalation and safety when needed.
• Support students in developing social and life skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan delivery.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
