Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district and standalone classrooms.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups, implement behavior plans, and help students develop essential life skills under a multidisciplinary team. You will monitor progress, collect data on behaviors, and communicate with parents and teachers to ensure consistency with IEP goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in the IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment and communicate with parents and teachers.
