Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a behavior aide to support K-12 students with diverse needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools. You will work with a teacher in small groups, monitor behavior, reinforce learning, and implement SESI’s evidence-based PBIS model to promote student growth.

You will contribute to student safety and progress by documenting outcomes and collaborating with parents and service providers in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in educational settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students in small groups and implement the SESI instructional model.
• Lead small group instruction and provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Reinforce learning, monitor progress, and document student growth toward goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, assistants, and related service providers to address student needs.
• Assist with safety procedures, de-escalation, and crisis management as needed.
