Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one with an assigned student under an IEP, implementing behavior support plans and recording progress.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster safe, inclusive learning. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and successful completion of paid training; SESI offers benefits,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Provide accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social and behavioral skill development.
• Supervise students and ensure they are always monitored, including during transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
