Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed to ensure safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment supporting social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure safe movement between locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
